My name is Anna (she/hers). I am a professional birth doula serving the Twin Cities area. I believe that every pregnant person deserves a doula— someone who will support you, empower you, and help you advocate throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I offer compassionate, personalized, evidence-based doula care that centers your voice, choices, and intuition. My work is rooted in an inclusive, decolonial, and trauma-informed framework, and I am committed to lifelong learning and unlearning.

About Anna
After the birth of my son, I felt called to help other birthgivers and their families navigate the transformational journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Outside of my work as a doula, I have spent the past 16 years teaching elementary and middle school in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Duluth. In my free time, you'll find me reading with a cat on my lap, gardening, or hiking with our dogs. My greatest joy is exploring our beautiful planet with my wonderful husband and our adorable toddler.
Birth Doula Services ($450)
Prenatal

Meet and greet with an overview of services

Two in-home prenatal visits (1-2 hours each) to get to know each other and discuss your hopes, needs and choices for birth

Unlimited on-call support for questions, guidance, referrals, and support starting upon hire
Labor and Delivery

24 hour on-call support starting at 38 weeks until baby is born

Continuous support through active labor at your home or birthing place
Postpartum

Postpartum support after baby is born (1-3 hours)

One in-home postpartum visit 3-10 days after birth to check in and process birth experience

Delivery of replenishing snacks and a healing meal
